A professional photographer, Gordon has been documenting people, products, places and events in a range of locales for the past twenty-three years. He studied photography formally at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and at the University of New Mexico.

Gordon's images, subjects and work reflect the diversity of life. He documents events and celebrations, studies nature, undertakes commercial studio projects and also pursues artistic explorations. In black and white photography, he surveys tones. Bolds and subtleties come to play in his color images. Large format lends itself to the ultimate clarity. More recently Gordon has explored and refined digital photography to realize the best of all of these imaging formats. And always, the interaction between photographer and the subject of the image means the most.
